Last night, we dedicated Korishia’s new home near downtown Fuquay-Varina. Korishia and her daughter were very excited, the home was beautiful, and a large cadre of volunteers from both our corporate partners John Deere Company, Bob Barker Company and a large coalition of SW Wake-area churches came to share in the celebration.
In her words of thanks and remarks, Korishia shared with us the scripture from Jeremiah 9:23-24:
“Thus says the Lord: Do not let the wise boast in their wisdom, do not let the mighty boast in their might, do not let the wealthy boast in their wealth; but let those who boast boast in this, that they understand and know me, that I am the Lord; I act with steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord.”
Thanks, Korishia for allowing us the blessing of working with you to build your home. And thanks for such a great reminder from the words of the prophet Jeremiah.
