Kevin Campbell, President/CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, is a recognized leader in service to the goal of affordable homeownership in Wake County and around the world. His unwavering professional commitment to Habitat for Humanity and its vision – a world where everyone has a decent place to live - spans nearly 30 years. Habitat Wake has experienced tremendous growth since Campbell became the President/CEO in April 2010. In 2017, Habitat Wake served the highest number of families in its 32-year history, building 60 homes, completing repairs on 45 homes, and funding the construction of 100 homes globally.
In 2013, Kevin was one of two recipients of the North Carolina Housing Coalition’s Bill Rowe Service to Affordable Housing Award, which recognizes a career-long significant commitment and impact on affordable housing. Kevin often speaks on the topic at corporate and non-profit events. Today, Campbell remains deeply involved with Habitat International by serving on five task forces. He also serves on the Wake County Affordable Housing Steering Committee.
