 Who: Youth groups, ages 16 and up

What:  Build nine homes during the summer of 2018

When:  June 20 - September 1

Where:  Crosstowne neighborhood, Raleigh

Why:  In Wake County, 91,000 families lack affordable housing. You can help nine local families to obtain affordable housing as a fun “stay-at-home service trip” this summer

  • Framing
  • Interior trim and doors
  • Cabinets
  • Painting
  • Landscaping
  • Siding
  • Collecting, cutting and installing cardboard baffles


  • Parental permission slips (ages 16-17)
  • Adult Supervision: One adult for every 5 youth
  • A great attitude
  • A financial contribution to underwrite the cost of the construction materials on the homes you will be working on
