Volunteer: Construction, Home Preservation, ReStore

Volunteering with Habitat Wake’s Construction, the ReStore, or Home Preservation provides a fun, hands-on opportunity for individuals and groups to support Habitat’s mission and build your skills, your  relationships, and your community. No experience is required! New volunteers will be coached by experienced volunteers and staff.

Construction Home Preservation ReStore
photoConstruction volunteers work side-by-side with Habitat Wake staff, partner families, and community partners to build not only homes, but the foundations of lives more fulfilled in Wake County.

ABWK White House workers 3This program works in our Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative communities to complete minor external repairs, painting and cleaning, and yard clean-up with existing homeowners.

IMG_3840The ReStores offer discounted new and used materials to the public and help to keep more than 3,000 tons of usable materials out of the landfill per year. The Habitat ReStores need you!
