Apostles Build
For a dozen years Habitat for Humanity International has celebrated its partnerships with churches through a program called Building on Faith. One particularly special event is the Apostles Build. Kicked off in September, the Apostles Build project mobilizes the faith community to build houses as an expression of God’s love.
Veronica Bitting, Faith & Community Relations Manager: Habitat for Humanity builds on faith every day. This particular collaboration is a way to celebrate the gifts of time and financial support that individuals and congregations give. They are helping families who otherwise wouldn’t have a decent place to live. They are putting faith into action.
