Grand Opening Celebration

Habitat Wake invited the community to celebrate the completion of our new 50,000 sq. ft. facility and the grand opening of our ReStore on Saturday, November 3. A Habitat homeowner, Habitat Wake leadership and elected officials including Congress member Brad Miller, NC State Senator Janet Cowell, County Commissioner Kenn Gardner and City Council Member Thomas Crowder cut a ribbon to open the new facility.

The generosity of the community via donations and volunteer time as well as shopping and donating at the ReStore makes homeownership possible for families managing on low incomes. This expansion of Habitat Wake’s "home" will accelerate the ways the community can support our mission to build safe, decent, affordable homes.

Key media parnters and vendors helped make the celebration enjoyable. Habitat Wake thanks:
