How to Donate

We shut down our warehouse at Alwin Court on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007. Donations can be dropped off at our new heated warehouse at 2420 Raleigh Boulevard. (It's pictured at left.)

Our warehouse is in Raleigh. Drop off donations at the ReStore 10:00 am - 5:30 pm Tuesday - Friday and 9:00 am - 4:30 pm on Saturdays. Click here for directions.

Follow the signs to the donation dock and volunteers and staff will be ready to assist you in unloading your items and give you a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.

Pickup Services

ReStore does offer limited pick up services for items too large to fit into your vehicle. This donation service is typically only available within Wake County and pick ups are determined on a case-by-case basis. Due to demand, we are usually unable to pick up donations of a single item.

DeCon Program

The ReStore innovatively collects new and used building materials from community donors and Habitat's DeConstruction program. The DeCon program salvages building materials as well as interesting architectural features by hand from residences being demolished. Donations are tax-deductible. (We've discovered that crews can reuse or recycle up to 85% of a house’s building materials.) Make plans with our DeCon staff by calling 919.833.1999 x231.
