Job Openings

Habitat Wake has one open staff position in the ReStore:
a full-time pickup driver. EOAAE.

Didn't know we have a donations pickup service? Now you do! Donations that you drop off, that Habitat Wake picks up or via DeCon services are accepted from households and businesses located throughout all of Wake County and its 12 municipalities.

We're also hiring our 2008-2009 AmeriCorps team. These AmeriCorps members will assist in the construction of homes and lead volunteers on site. EOAAE.



Our Mission

Habitat for Humanity of Wake County develops partnerships to build healthy, affordable homes with and for God's people in need, promotes self-reliance through homeownership, affirms the dignity of family, and creates sustainable communities.

Our logo symbolizes volunteerism and the community spirit of neighbors helping neighbors. Pictured at right are volunteers from Credit Suisse and a homeowner on site this spring.

Pictured at left are one of Habitat Wake's newest homeowner family. On the last Saturday in March 2008, our community dedicated dedicated the family's and their neighboring family's beautifully-built new homes. Homes built by Habitat empower families with opportunities to end the cycle of poverty housing. Thank you for your support.
