The largest contigent of volunteers at Habitat Wake construct homes.
In October 2007, staff, AmeriCorps members and volunteers had seven homes under construction. Scenes from two of the sites show the progress of many people collaborating.

The churches that make up the Lutheran Coalition broke ground Saturday, May 12, 2007 on a home sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Across the United States this year, 256 Habitat affiliates will build 355 homes in partnership with Trivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat homeowners.

Take a Habitour
Habitour is a free, one-hour information session that allows you to see and hear what Habitat for Humanity is doing in Wake County. Guests meet at the Habitat offices & ReStore at 2420 Raleigh Boulevard for a light lunch and video presentation, then board a bus for a short driving tour to a home under construction.
