Ebere
Ebere dedicated her Habitat home in the fall of 2010. Her story was featured on the Habitat International website in January 2011.
Ebere and her two small children moved to the United States from Nigeria in 2006. After several years in a transitional home program, Ebere applied to the Habitat Wake homeownership program and was accepted.
At her dedication, the director of Ebere's transitional program spoke about the hard work, commitment, and dedication it took Ebere to make her way in a new country on her own. She boasted that Ebere was the most successful client they had ever seen. Ebere's children were also thrilled at the home dedication. They invited each attendee on a tour of the home, proudly showing off their brand new rooms.
