Application Process

To apply for homeownership, please review the qualifications. If you meet the criteria listed, then you are eligible to complete a mini-application as the first step in the evaluation and approval process. There are three ways to obtain our mini-application:

  1. Click on these links to open an application you can print:
  2. Send an email to homeownership@habitatwake.org that provides your name, address, and phone number. A mini-application and homeownership brochure will be mailed to you. You should receive these within 10 days.; or
  3. Call our Family Services department at 919.833.1999 x282 and leave your name, address, and phone number. A mini-application and homeownership brochure will be mailed to you. You should receive these within 10 days.

Homeowner Information Session

Habitat Wake adheres to a homeowner selection process that chooses applicants who have a need to improve their housing situation and have the ability to pay a modest monthly mortgage payment. We accept applications and build houses throughout the year. Applying homeowners and people assisting applicants are welcome to attend our next homeowner information session to learn more.
