Women Build
Women Build is a national effort to build homes that are funded and constructed by women. By providing a female friendly work site, Women Build empowers women to take leadership roles in construction and learn new skills while building a home for a hardworking family in need of safe, affordable housing.
Habitat Wake's next Women Build project will break ground in the spring of 2011. The first step is raising funds to cover the cost of building materials. To do so, we are seeking 20 individuals or groups to sponsor the home at the $3,750 level.
Groups may pledge now and fund raise over the next year. To make a pledge, express volunteer interest, ask questions or request to stay informed about Women Build's progress, please use our contact us form.
