Group Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you're a part of a corporate group, faith community, school, or civic group, volunteering with Habitat Wake is a great way to build relationships among members and give back to your community. We offer opportunities for groups to volunteer and to sponsor houses and other projects throughout the year.
Volunteer as a group for Construction or Deconstruction - use this form to request a reservation for your group.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work on a Construction or Deconstruction project. For youth ages 16 and 17, we require a signed consent form. Young people age 14 and up can participate in landscaping work once construction is completed. See our Landscaping Sponsorship opportunity below for more information.

Home sponsorship is a great way to make lasting change in our community. By funding all or part of the home you are helping to build, your school, congregation, or community group will provide a local family with a place to call home. Home sponsors receive recognition on site, on the web and in our annual report, as well as first pick of volunteer dates. → A Brush With Kindness project sponsorships
Assist low income homeowners in maintaining their investments, encourage connections in the community, and preserve affordable housing stock. Projects may include painting, landscaping, weatherization, and minor exterior repairs
- $3,500 A Brush With Kindness project sponsorships include 1-2 volunteer days for your group.

Ideal for youth groups (for ages 14+)
- Groups contribute $2,500 and provide landscaping labor for one house.
