Home Builders Blitz 2008 Support Needed

Three years of Home Builder Blitzes (2002, 2004 and 2006), have provided homes for 56 Habitat homeowners. This year, the 29 local builders who make up the Triangle Builders Guild will build five homes – from start to finish. Read more.

The builders donating their expertise along with contributions of materials and labor from vendors and subcontractors are key to this event. But even with their tremendous support, there are a number of costs not covered by gifts of time and materials – such as the cost of the land. If you would like to support this project, please consider designating a contribution to the 2008 Home Builders Blitz. Every dollar you give will go toward this construction project.

The Stewards Fund Challenge Met

The Stewards Fund Increases Your Gifts
Once again, The Stewards Fund offered a matching grant challenge to donors supporting Habitat Wake’s mission…and you rose to the challenge! In the six months beginning November 1, 2007, donors gave $400,000 in new or increased gifts. The Stewards Fund will match with a gift of $200,000. Special thanks to The Stewards Fund and to everyone -- including guests at the 2008 Blueprint Breakfast -- who helped meet this ambitious goal. Your gifts will build homes and hope in Wake County.
