"I was drawn to Habitat because it serves a need as basic as food - a place for a family to live. We've been fortunate and saw this as a way to give something back and help a family move ahead." -Ron Doggett
Individual Sponsorship
Individuals interested in funding a home are partnered with a homeowner family. They have the option of working alongside the family and community volunteers to raise the walls and build a home. Individuals give at various levels - download the list of sponsorship levels and benefits here.
The Doggett Family-to-Family Giving Circle
In 1999, Ron and Jeanette Doggett became the first family in Wake County to fully sponsor a Habitat home. To acknowledge their leadership, Habitat Wake created the Doggett Family-to-Family Giving Circle. This fund honors and recognizes one-time, single gifts of $75,000 or more from individuals and families.
